Epoxy Flooring in Tampa: Seamless Floors, Cured Before You Reopen

An epoxy floor is tough and easy to clean, but the coating needs time to cure before anyone walks on it. In a building that never closes, that cure time is the whole problem. We schedule around it. Call (813) 250-9500.

Why epoxy needs a plan, not just a crew

Epoxy is a coating system: the concrete is prepared, the coating is applied, and it cures into a seamless, hard-wearing surface. That surface suits areas that take abuse and frequent cleaning. The catch is that a coated area cannot take traffic until it has cured, so the schedule matters as much as the product.

How we fit epoxy into an open building

We map which areas can close and for how long, then time preparation, coating and cure around your closed hours. Routes around the work are planned before we start, and the area is separated from the spaces still operating, so staff and customers keep moving while one zone cures.

Your plan in three steps

  1. Consult. We meet at your property and learn how it runs: which areas must stay open, when traffic peaks, and who cannot be moved.
  2. Plan. We build a phased schedule around your hours, not ours, and agree on which zones close, when, and for how long.
  3. Implement. One team carries out the work zone by zone, with one point of contact, and hands each area back ready to use.

Questions Tampa property and facility managers ask

How long is an area closed for an epoxy floor?

It depends on the system and the size of the area. We set the closure windows during planning and, where possible, fit the coating and cure into hours when your space is already closed.

Do we have to close while you work?

No. Occupied space renovation is the reason this company exists. We phase the work zone by zone, so only part of your space is out of use at any time and the rest stays open for customers, patients, residents or staff.

Can the work happen at night or on weekends?

Yes. Our project hours are flexible. Evening, weekend and after-hours work is available, and areas are left clean and usable before you open.

Who manages the project?

One team and one point of contact from the first meeting to the last zone. Occupied Renovations handles planning, design, scheduling, sourcing, site preparation and installation.
